PARENT
GUILD SERVICE POINTS PROGRAM
Purpose of this
program is:
- To provide an
opportunity for school parents to be actively involved in
their child’s education
- To offset the deficit
between tuition collected and the actual cost of operating the school
- To give parents flexibility
in choosing their service activities. This program has proven to be a very
effective tool for the school administration in keeping tuition as low as
possible.
List of Positions:
Principal
Appointed, Parent Guild Appointed, and Elected Positions - These positions are
either appointed by the school principal, Parent Guild, or elected by the parents
and/or parishioners. These appointed/elected parents are listed on the St. Rose
Parent Guild Service Application Form.
Other Volunteer
Service Positions - These are filled on a first-come, first-served
basis during school registration.
- Families are
required to do a minimum 35 school service points. Listed
at the bottom of this form are the choices for accomplishing these points.
- Every effort will be
made to give families their primary choices; however, if a position is filled
or a category has sufficient coverage, the family will need to choose an alternative.
- During registration,
parents will complete a Service Point Contract. At the completion of registration,
each school family will know how their service points will be met for the
school year. A copy of this contract will be given to the families as a receipt
indicating their service commitment for the 2007-2008 school year. It will
also be posted on the school website.
