Welcome to St. Rose School
It is our hope and prayer that this new website will be the door of welcome to all who open it.
Our motto: St. Rose School exists to bring our Catholic faith to life.
St. Rose School is proud to carry on the traditions established by our founders, Monsignor James Corcoran and the Sisters of Mercy. St. Rose School is a Catholic elementary school (Transitional Kindergarten through Eighth Grade) serving the families of St. Rose of Lima Parish and the surrounding parishes of Roseville, Lincoln, Rocklin, Loomis, Granite Bay, Orangevale, and Antelope. The school is accredited by the Western Catholic Educational Association and the Western Association of Schools and Colleges. Our enrollment for the 2012-2013 academic school year is 322 students.
Since our doors opened 52 years ago, St. Rose School has provided an education grounded in the Catholic faith. The core curriculum is academically challenging and is designed to help students prepare for the additional rigors of high school and beyond. We want our graduates to become valuable members of the greater community by integrating faith, service, leadership, and academic excellence. In addition to their academic pursuits, students at St. Rose School are offered many co-curricular and extra-curricular activities, including art and music, athletics, Spanish and Italian, academic competitions, chorus, hand bell choir, student council, community service, and countless special events occurring throughout the year.
At St. Rose School, all children have the chance to fulfill their academic and social potential while learning and experiencing the richness of the Catholic faith through their developing relationship with a loving God. Our Catholic faith and values are reflected in every aspect of our school, from the lesson plans to the physical structure.
